Information you send us
The contact form asks for your name, email, organization, phone, area of interest, and message. Submitting the form opens a draft in your email application. The message is sent only if you send that email to info@canopygroups.com. We use those details to reply to your enquiry and to keep a record of the correspondence.
Information collected automatically
The homepage may load Google Analytics to understand visits in aggregate, such as pages viewed and general location derived from an IP address. A cookie tool on the site can store a preference about cookies. We do not ask you to create an account on this website, and we do not sell personal information.
How we use information
We use information to:
- respond to enquiries about capital, minerals, power, natural capital, and EPC services;
- operate, secure, and improve the website;
- meet legal and record-keeping duties.
Sharing
We share enquiry information with the Canopy Groups people who need it to respond, including colleagues in our U.S. and DRC offices. We may also share information with service providers who host email or website tools, and when the law requires it. We do not share contact-form details with unrelated marketers.
Retention
We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as the conversation is active and for a reasonable period afterward so we can follow up and keep a business record. Analytics data is kept according to the settings of that tool.
Your choices
You can email info@canopygroups.com to ask what contact details we hold from you, to correct them, or to ask us to delete them where we are not required to keep them. You can also control cookies in your browser. Blocking cookies may limit some site features.
Children
This website is meant for a business audience. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will post the updated version on this page and change the date above.
